The road to diabetes does not have to be a one-way street. There is reason for hope! Diets centered around plants, emphasizing legumes—beans, split peas, chickpeas, and lentils—whole grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds, and discouraging most or all animal products…are especially potent in preventing and treating type 2 diabetes. In addition, plant-based nutrition has been associated with much lower rates of obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular mortality.

In this 6-weeks class, participants will discover the Power of Your Plate in preventing and reversing type 2 diabetes using a low fat, whole food, plant-based diet. Learn how affordable these meals can be as well as delicious and satisfying. 

All classes will be on Zoom from your home of office. Enjoy cook-a-longs every week, get great recipes for quick meal preparation and meet new friends. Receive great support and health coaching.
